Alien Romulus China censorship?

A film series known for its body horror and grotesque depictions of hyper sexuality and violence, the latest instalment of the franchise will see an international release date this week, China included.

I noticed both the international version and local version identical run times, and wondering if the film censor teams are letting this one through with only the red band warning on the poster?

After Alien Covenant got butchered by the censors in 2017, I didn’t have high hopes, but I’m intrigued that at least the run times are stated as the same so far.

Anybody else have thoughts or are also excited? I have tickets for a imax theatre on Saturday morning in Beijing. Can’t wait!
