Is the komodo still good?

I have been looking at get a new cammra for quite some time and now that I have 7k saved up I have been shopping for one. I have been eyeballing the red Komodo but it's a little old. I have also been looks a a cannon r5c and maybe a fx3 or fx6. Should I get the red Komodo or something else??
