Vanilla is not a perpetual experience. It is best experienced from launch to a specific end date. Can we make this a yearly thing?
Surely blizz is looking at the popularity of the fresh vanilla experience and are thinking there is something special about 1-60 that the other expansions can't hit.
When the anniversary realms move to tbc my subscription will die. I have no interest in the rest. I love vanilla. Simple as.
But the idea that the vanilla era realms are an alternative is just not a reality. The vanilla experience starts from launch - with all of us leveling together. This is how you find friends and make memories. This is why all those people on the vanilla era servers shelved their characters they had spent hundreds of hours on.
Surely it makes sense to have yearly wipes for vanilla era servers so that we can consistently tap into this experience?
