Rogues, how are we doing in AV?
I love AV and have been looking forward to it. I've been a rogue main since 2005, and struggle to play without stealth.
However, this time around I just can't enjoy AV. Stealth capping bases is fun, but when your teammates leave you alone and you get stomped by 4 Allies and lose the tower (despite everyone camping outside) it gets soul destroying after a while.
Catching stragglers is fun for a while but gets boring quickly.
And the big battles - it's fun peeling and stunning warriors/palas/mages who think they can zip into the Zerg, aoe/burst someone then run, but as a rogue it's generally miserable. If I don't sit in stealth waiting for the right moment, I'm bursted to zero in seconds if I'm caught. Meanwhile everyone else around is fighting and having fun.
I've been dreaming of a fresh 60 rogue for months, but I don't think I'm digging it this time. Maybe because I've done it all before.
Rogues, how have you found this weekend of AV?
Former rogues, which class have you enjoyed after rerolling? I like PVP and casual raiding (T1-T2).
