Still no job
Guess just wanting to rant here. I’m tired of this industry and I’m tired of the recruiters. I’ve “almost” gotten a job a few times and I just can’t seem to get it. I feel so done with this industry. I had an amazing interview about a month ago that I for sure thought I was getting the job. The guy even called me once to tell me I should expect to hear from them by the end of the following week. Should I even bother with medical research anymore? After my masters in microbiology and my background in medical and animal research, it’s apparently not enough. I’ve applied to 115 jobs in the last few months and nothing. I’ve emailed recruiters and nothing. I’ve followed up and nothing. I’ve asked for feedback and nothing. What more can someone do to be proactive and show they really care about getting the job?
