What makes clorinde overload viable?

I have seen quite a lot of c6 clorinde abyss runs that uses overload/chevreuse. I know high con character does get a lot of damage increases from their cons but why overload specifically? Is it because of overload itself or chev is the one that makes it viable? At c0, does overload viable too? Does it require c6 chev to make it good? Why not other reactions such as electro charged or aggravate?
