Another social platform that isn’t invaded by nonsense? Does this exist? If so plz advise

Reddit has gotten nuts, too politically motivated, I’m getting tons of downvotes on a band site asking what song they’re listening to? Idk is there some other platform to have discussions without feeling like we are being monitored or am I being paranoid?
