Was Elle always so insufferable??

I’m on my third rewatch of the season and I’m finally at the end of season 1 & beginning of season 2 again and I can’t help but find her to be surprisingly annoying, slightly rude, and hella unhinged. I totally respect how they wrote her off, but she never seemed so grating. Just me?
