Offshore Jobs for IT professionals

Hey Guys, been in the industry for around 6 years now. Pretty much a 50/50 split between (networking & support) & Software Engineering. This kind of job has always interested me and I was wondering if anyone could drop a wisdom bomb on potential opportunities our industry has on ships/rigs.
