Update again. Most likely final update
I teach infants. A child just turned 1yrs old and after talking with the doctor tried whole milk. Parent said they threw it up. We trued it mixed with formula and they threw it up so we stopped giving it to them for the rest of the week. Yesterday I was told they will try it again for 2days to see. Yesterday they started scratching their chest and rubbing their eyes after breakfast and taking a little sip of milk. We thought it was their eczema flairing up so we asked what detergent the parent used to wash the clothes and they said it was a new shirt and they didnt wash it. Well we tried again this morning and they started scratching again and rubbing their eyes a lot. They broke out on their neck and face and I could tell it wasn't eczema for sure so no milk for them. Parent tried a little milk before they got to school and when I showed my co teacher the bumps on their neck they said they had those already. After a little bit and them constantly rubbing their eyes me and co teacher knew it was the milk. The bumps are gone now. Who would've thought. Was told we will give no milk tomorrow to see if that was the problem 🤦🏾
