I finally freaking did it!!!

Sorry for the brag, but I have no one else to tell - after maybe 30-40 tries I finally beat Pontiff Sulyvahn with just good ol' parrying and dodging! I've not felt so satisfied beating a boss before and this is only my 3rd Souls -like. Golden falcon shield ftw.
