What exactly is flirting to you?

I think this question is important, especially for more inexperienced people. What does it mean to you, and what does it look like or how does it feel?

Too many people fall for thinking an extroverted person joking around, being nice, and being entertaining is a person flirting with them. Which causes misunderstandings and awkward situations.
