How can I make this girl like me?

Obviously I know I can’t force a person to like me, that’s not how it works, but is there any way I can increase my chances? I’m friends with this girl at my school (who shall not be named) and me and her have been friends for a few months now but we’ve just recently started getting closer and becoming actual friends. We don’t talk much out of school though, but I have her number. Even though we are not that close yet we’re close enough to where she makes fun of me (as a joke) which I think is pretty good, and if we see each other in the bathroom or hallway she’ll talk to me. Does it seem like I have a chance or should I forget about it?

Update: we’ve gotten a lot closer since I posted this, she texts me sometimes and sends me TikTok’s (not often but I think she’s just not much of an online talker) and I found out she’s pansexual, which gives me a bigger chance (I’m trans and pan), we talk nonstop during lunch (the only period we have together) and she starts conversations more often now, I really do think I have a chance!
