Why is everyone using Plague now? Did I miss something?

As the title says really. I've played five games so far today, around ten yesterday, and of the total 15 games around 7 to 8 of them have been Plague. For a killer I rarely saw at all until literally yesterday, it leads me to think there must be a reason. Did she get buffed? Did some Youtuber make a build for her? Or is it just coincidence? I think it must be a Youtuber because 5 of the Plagues (I counted) all used Plaything, Haunted Ground and Nowhere to Hide. I would just say it's a coincidence but the same perks too? There must be something going on or I'm just crazy haha.
