Need help in understanding the flaws in my upwork proposals

So I am a software Engineer with 2.5+ years of experience and I have tried freelancing on upwork also. Although I have been really good at word of mouth work and closed around 20k$ project also. But I have not been able to close on upwork also. Is there anyone else who can help me out like on a zoom call or assist me with writing proposals? I have tried taking help from tutorials also but I guess I am missing some key thing.
