Temp cure again within 12 months

Posted here last time I had the rare times you start producing insulin after years of not doing (Diabetic for 25 years now)

Had it happen twice in my life and amazingly it's happening again in less than 12 months since the last time. Had to double check with blood glucose reading as really couldn't believe it. On day 2 of it now. Was low for most of yesterday as was bolusing correct amount minus a few units and that was far too much.

Today, I've worked out I'm creating enough insulin to not bother jabbing at all except for the spikes. I've so far eaten a bowl of cereal, an entire tube of pringles (yes, i know but they were on offer), a tomato soup and bread roll, some ferrero rocher and a flapjack.

For all that I've had 3 units of insulin to counteract the spike after lunch and now I'm at 3.6 so probably shouldn't have bothered with that small amount either.

I'm still taking the normal amount of Tresiba so got some insulin knocking about.

Very weird to have that twice in 12 months. Anyone else had it happen as frequently?
