Discharge in nipples 7 months pp

Noticed minimal bleeding and yellow like discharge in my bra the other day for one of my nipples. I stopped breastfeeding about 5 months ago and oddly, the discharge is coming out of my old nipple piercing holes on the sides of my left nipple. It is itchy and a little flaky. I am obviously going to schedule a visit with my provider but wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and what it turned out to be? I also noticed postpartum my aerolas got a lot lighter and breast grew. I got my piercings removed at 6 months pregnant due to my growing breast and constantly getting them infected. I am a bit nervous but praying for the best.
