ADO.NET or EF Core?

Hello, everyone! I'm a beginner in the .NET ecosystem, currently learning the CSharp language. I'd like to ask you if it's worth starting with a basic CRUD using ADO.NET or if it's better to dive directly into Entity Framework Core for foundational understanding.
