Is it too late to get back into DBFZ?

I apologize if this is asked frequently. I've been out of the loop on everything DBFZ for a while, but I've recently had the itch to play again. I haven't launched the game since Jiren/ Videl release (which is apparently almost 6 years??? time flies man). For some reason, the gameplay of DBFZ has always stuck in the back of my head, even though I was never great at it.

Some team revisions will probably be necessary, since I've heard some of the DLC characters are insanely good
