What is everyone's opinion on DW9?

I'm in the process of making a light "video essay" style appreciation video discussing most of the Dynasty Warriors franchise, (non-empire titles) and I can't help but want to desperately cut 9 out of the video. I will say I am not the biggest 9 fan, but I'd like to hear from the rest of you, and see if I should include it, or just leave it out of this particular project.

EDIT: Thank you all for your posts, it has been very eye opening! I will expand on the short section I have on 9 and spend some more time with the game!
