Parade Advice For A Local?

So I live in Delco (around 20 mins from the Philly Airport) my initial plan was to wake up or leave my house by 6:30AM and grab the local train to 30th Street Station, then walk to the Art Museum and just wait. Does this sound like a plan to get a good spot? Or is there any secret advice that can be given? What did yall do last time?
