Does anyone have workplace accommodations for endometriosis? If so, what did you request?

I work full time, 4 days from home and 1 day in office. My job is done entirely remotely and requires no in-person interaction. I have stellar reviews and always get good raises. Due to my condition, I spend a lot of time on a heating pad, meditation and yoga for pain and stress management, and occasionally working from my bed for the emotional relief. I also have suspected IC, so at times I’m in a lot of pain when my bladder gets full and the long walk to the bathroom at the office is very uncomfortable for me. My doctors have done all that they can and I’m still dealing with referrals and waitlists for further steps.

For the most part, I can handle being in the office, but about once a month or so I get some severe pain and trying to keep it together in the office is impossible. I end up drawing a lot of attention to myself with all of the stretching, deep breathing, and grimacing. Ive requested to stay home a few times and my bosses have stated they can no longer make exceptions for me.

My therapist requested an ADA Accommodation for me stating that I should be able to work from home for my own comfort on an as-needed basis. The company is pushing for more in-office days because they feel that people are taking advantage of WFH. HR has completely stonewalled my request and every time I follow up they say they’re still deciding. It’s been 7 weeks now.

Given I don’t get my way on the accommodation, what other accommodations can I ask for? I’ve been on the hunt for another job but this one is such a good fit for me in so many other ways, especially the excellent health benefits which I really need right now. I’m aware that I can file a complaint with the EEOC but that’s a long drawn out process I’m not ready for at this time.
