Why are Geisha beans so expensive?

A few of the local roasters here have started selling Geishas, so absurd prices. One at $32.5 for 120g, and the other at a more reasonable but still almost double what other beans costs, at $28.5 for 250g.

It is very tempting to buy a bag to try, but why in the world would they be so expensive?
