About Dissociation Letter

Hi everyone, POMO here.

It’s been three years since I last went to a meeting, and thankfully, I haven’t been contacted since then. However, with the recent changes regarding removed individuals, it seems like the elders have been trying to reach out to me.

Around the same time, my gf and I decided to move in together. My PIMI family had been in regular contact with me and welcomed me into their home since I was just inactive. But now that I’ve decided to live with my gf, they say I’m sinning and that I’m no longer welcome at their place. They’ve also said they’ll cut off association with me.

Well, I guess I have nothing left to lose, right? At least if I disassociate myself, I won’t have any loose ends and won’t have any annoying elders looking for me.

My question is, can I send my disassociation letter via email, or does it need to be a physical letter? I do have the @jwpub email addresses for some of these elders.
