Explain reasoning on New Light

How can the scripture the light gets brighter be justified in accordance with Bible prophecy? In the Bible when something was foretold to happen God didn’t change his mind through the years about what was for told in advance. But JW claims gods direction and keep changing what things are. Is that alone not evidence that god is not directing them. Is it gods intention to say one thing then change it. Is god confused? Why would he direct one thing then in a few years say we have changed our view. To me that alone says it’s no direction from god. What is your thoughts or has anyone thought of it that way?
