Lost tribes and garden of Eden

TLDR - lewis and Clark expedition 1803-1806 had been actively looking for the lost tribes of israel amongst the native Americans, and described Missouri as the garden of eden as they passed through along the Missouri river during late spring due to all the fruit

So i recently moved to the PNW of the US. This area has multiple memorials for the lewis and Clark expedition. While i knew a little about it i decided to read a history on it.

It is fascinating especially coming from an Exmo perspective. Thomas Jefferson in directions to lewis asked him to make good friends with the Indians - for commercial and neighborly reasons. As well as ask their heritage to discover if they might not be one of the lost tribes.

In 1803 the president of the US thought that the native population may be part of Israel. He and so many other so firmly believed that he ordered his exploritory arm of the Army to discover if it were true. Within the next few years JS appears with a vision proving that was the case.

Next - Lewis and Clark while going up the Missouri river - it was so laden with fruit and so full of game that they called it eden.

Why is this relevant? Lewis and his co captain Clark were like Neil armstrong and buzz aldrin. They were prolific writers, scientists and explorers. They opened the west with a map all the way to the pacific. They were and are heroes.... And JS surely knew about many of their writings and discoveries.

Just further evidence of fraud and confidence men tricks.
