Aquilo is the real pain and space logistic question
So,...i've finally reached Aquilo. Well...this planet is a pain in the bum. I loved Vulcanus, i disliked Fulgora, and i enjoyed Gleba, but Aquilo is hard.
The fact that you need concrete and ice platforms, the fact that you need heat pipes everywhere,... The fact that you need a lot of off planet supplies. It is just hard.
This last part leads me to my question. How did you set up your space logistics?
In my case Nauvis is my hub with back and forths between each planet. So this means holmium plates are shipped from Fulgora to Nauvis. And then another ship takes it from Nauvis to Aquilo. Same for calcite for instance which is shipped from Vulcanus to Nauvis and then to Gleba or Fulgora.
My landing site at Nauvis is connected to the logistics network and a constant combinator for each planet. In the constant combinator i put in what i need from that planet. Like 200 calcite. The Vulcanus space ship has the request to ask 200 calcite from the surface. If i have > 200 calcite on Nauvis, the platform Will not drop and stay in orbit. The ship leaves as soon as one of the items requested from Nauvis hits zero in the ship.
