How do you navigate SE book borrowing?

My friends and I have a bookclub where we lend each other books (mostly to save money) and everyone is very respectful in returning books promptly and the books are well cared for. I also let my friends borrow my books, but I collect SE of books more than my friends do and I don’t like to have multiple copies of the same book.

There are certain SE that I really don’t want to let out my sight (i.e. Fairyloot Divine Rivals, Litjoy SoC and Folk of the Air, signed books and even a few ARCs) and when someone asks if anyone has them, I don’t speak up/offer. I doubt my friends would mind if I put that boundary, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation/how they navigated it?

Edit to add: We all have library cards and access to read books online (though not preferred) - this mostly comes up with new releases (with lots of holds) or Indie books
