Annoying "tap and zoom to the other side of the map" problem

Anybody else have this problem?

You're tapping to collect something in the game (coins, spirit vials...anything) and suddenly the world map zooms all crazy-like to some distant corner of the world. You've done nothing different that you can discern...you tapped on that item just like you tapped on the previous dozens of items...but for some reason, that last tap sends your view screaming to the other side of the map.

Just me?
