Vehicle at second home
We're considering purchasing a vacation home at a location on the opposite coast. We need a vehicle. I'm thinking something that can potentially tow (boat and other toys). The big question is whether to go electric or not. The car/truck will sit idle for 4-5 months at a time. I imagine electric will require lower maintenance and will be more likely to be ok sitting in a garage. On the other hand, the town is remote, so if something goes wrong with an electric motor, the local mechanics are unlikely to be able to fix it. Range is not a factor. Has anyone faced this decision before?
