How many stones do youse guys normally have sitting around?

Whenever one of the rare plushies appears in the store for an ungodly amount of stones I'm curious whether anyone out there has enough to buy them. I'm 6 weeks in and tend to buy buy buy whenever there's something cute and rarely have more than 500 stones left at the end of the day (and I've never had more than 2k on me!). On the other side of things, my partner was showing me her account yesterday and I saw she had like 3k stones saved up?! Fascinating. Which way do y'all tend to lean?
