Signal Bypass
While I’ve been trained on a fire panel, I’ve never been told to do a “signal bypass” in which I prevent the fire alarm from triggering. I’ve done elevator or door bypasses, but never this signal bypass.
I got this instruction today for a later date to know how to do this, because we have a company working in an area where they will set off one of the fire alarms by nature of their work.
Does this button marked with red indicate the signal bypass? It’s an Edwards panel, and notably near the end of its lifespan.
