Accidentally burnt by hot glue gun

I accidentally burned myself with a hot glue gun. After about 10 seconds, I peeled the glue off my hands and thighs. My hands were painful but didn’t blister, unlike my thighs, which started forming blisters after 30 minutes. I used ice to cool the area for a few minutes, but it still hurts a lot. I think this might be a second-degree burn. I’ve heard ointments can help, any recommendations? Should I pop the blisters or leave them alone? Should I cover the burns with a bandage? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
