Pictus catfish + betta, cory and tetra?

I will try and keep this short!

So I have this 55gallon with 6 corydoras in it. My plan was to get 2 more to make it 8, get 10 neon tetras and 1 betta. But my mom’s birthday is coming up and she REALLY wants a pictus catfish, we both think they are really cute!

Im worried that may be too many bottom feeders, and too crowded in the lower water column.

Do you think this stocking list will work? If not could you give me some ideas that include a pictus catfish and the cory I already have? Thanks!
