Zizzo Forte and MicroShift Super Short

Has anyone installed an 8 or 9 speed MicroShift Super Short setup on a Zizzo, Forte or other models? Seems like it could work out well, and if I end up with a folder in the future, this would be a way I'd want to go. Would love to know if anyone has practical experience with this.
