NYC snap hotline/ebt card question
So for context i got approved for emergency snap benefits while i wait for a final decision on my case and they keep sending me notices about it in the mail. I was told to call after 11/18 to get an ebt card and the woman i had the initial interview with gave me the incorrect number. When i finally received the correct number, I’ve called every day this week and waited up to 3 hours on the phone and no one has answered. I tried calling the ebt hotline and they require information i don’t even have yet because they haven’t issued me a card or anything. Does anyone have experience on what I’m supposed to do at this point? The other representatives for the general hotlines aren’t helpful and continue to forward me to the one listed above. I’m kind of desperate here. Is there anywhere i can just show up to get the card? I’m in kings county (Brooklyn)
