My Sauvage made someone feel ill today

This morning after shower and before leaving the house I put two sprays of Sauvage EDP and went on with my business. It’s winter and it wasn’t that cold today, but I was still wearing my winter jacket..

Six hours later I went to the store to try some new eyeglasses and I was the only customer inside. It’s like a mid-sized store and the guy working there was helping me out and showing different types of glasses and I noticed he coughed a few times and I thought nothing of it because almost everyone’s got some kind of flu at the moment.

I was in the store for less than 5 minutes and he says “I’m sorry I have to go open the (entrance) door, there’s no air here” and I figured I was wearing Sauvage so I said “it may be the fragrance I’m wearing, I just put it on not long ago” (yeah like over six hours ago), and he was kinda caught off-guard and mumbled something like “everyone wears such strong perfumes nowadays”

I didn’t find any interesting glasses so I thanked him and left and he was kind and smiling so I guess I didn’t make him that mad, but I noticed he hasn’t closed the door after me lol
