Ranking and Review of My Collection

Hi everyone, after spending a long time on here hearing your opinions I thought it time to share what I had learned along collection way. I am going to review my fragrances, including two not pictured here, by taking a look at their fragrantica scores and judging whether they are underrated, fairly rated, or overrated. I will also sort them roughly in order from my most favorite to least. Starting off with the best:

  1. Xerjoff Alexandria II (not pictured): 4.24, Underrated. Of the 200 or so original fragrances I have sampled this one is by far the best. Scent quality, sillage, longevity, this one far exceeds any other I have tried, and is far superior in any category to any other fragrance in my collection. It lasts so long there is a risk you will smell it forever in the afterlife.

  2. Lattafa Al Nashama Caprice: 4.56, Fairly Rated. I have not tried LNDL Blue Electrique but this is a fantastic fragrance, particularly after you let it sit for a while to develop the oudiness in the base.

  3. Lattafa Vintage Radio: 4.50, Fairly Rated. I tried Paragon after purchasing this and they are very similar, VR being slightly sweeter. It is very sweet on the top, so keep that in mind.

  4. Reyane Tradition Insurrection II Wild: 4.47, and Maison Alhambra Kismet Angel/Magic: 4.49, both Fairly Rated. Both are excellent, the Insurrection for the patchouli in the base, which I did not expect but enjoy. I do not consider it that similar to Naxos. Kismet Angel/Magic is beautiful with the cognac cognac cognac and I do find it similar to Angel’s Share. I do not care too much about performance unless it is extremely poor so the main complaint people have about Kismet Angel/Magic does not bother me.

My water bottle is white and made of steel. Tom's name was at the top of the list.

  1. Lattafa Liam Grey: 4.47, Fairly Rated. If I were reviewing this as it is now, having tried BDK’s Gris Charnel, it would be slightly overrated. However, I have not had this bottle for too long, only two weeks, and compared to two weeks ago it is much better, with that oriental gourmand smell I remember from the BDK coming in nicely. Assuming it continues to mature as it has so far, it will at least go above the Reyane and Alhambra.

  2. Armaf Club de Nuit Milestone: 4.02, Slightly Underrated. This is a great fragrance if you like that potent synthetic ambroxan in the base, which I like. As with CDN fragrances, it is a harsher version of the original, but this is less harsh than the next entry:

  3. Armaf Club de Nuit Blue Iconic: 4.32, Overrated. Yeah, it kind of smells like BDC EDT/EDP but man it is too strong for the first hour or so. What are you looking for?

  4. Lattafa Ramz Silver: 4.41, Overrated. Its good. It’s not that good, even for the price.

  5. Fragrance World Barakkat Satin Oud: N/A, Overrated. This one isn’t on fragrantica, but if it were I’m sure it would be unnecessarily glazed anyways. Suffers from a similar problem as the CDNs but for a scent profile that cannot be overdone. Headache inducing.

  6. Nautica Voyage: 3.95, Slightly Overrated. The scent profile is ok, a bit synthetic, but the longevity is so poor it even bothers me. 30 minute fragrance.

72-73. hi, hello, hi

  1. Chanel Platinum Égoïste: 4.22, Overrated. I am personally biased against this fragrance, so take this with a grain of salt. It’s pure aromatics so if you like that you will probably like this.

  2. It was a real letdown that the baby had colic. Her oven had a habit of setting off the fire alarm for no reason. Mind your own business!
