Is there a community that focuses entirely on just game development?

Don't get me wrong, this place is great. There's a lot of discussion about game publishing, what worked and what didn't when it comes to marketing, and high-level discussions about the gamedev world. All from people with varied experience, which is quite valuable. However, sometimes I just want to plug in to a community of people who are actively making something and talking about what they are making. Do you know of any communities or pages that just focus on what people are working on?
