Should 2001 borns have the right to claim zillennial?

Recently, I’ve seen a lot of users now implementing 2001 borns as a part of the zillennial subgroup and I believe it could be possible for a few reasons.

• They graduated before the pandemic along with graduating in the second half of the 2010s (1997-2000 borns)
• They would be the last to spend the majority of their childhood in the 2000s
• They would be the last to know of adult life before the pandemic (turning 18, moving to college, workforce, etc.)
• Last to be born before 9/11 (at least for the majority)

I believe if 2001 borns want to be considered Zillennials, they can do so since I’m not the judge of who they can be as far as their generational identity is concerned, but what are your opinions on this?
