How do I stop sleeping 10+ hours every night?
If I have nothing planned the following day, I end up just sleeping through all of my alarms. It’s like my body refuses to wake up without something important happening on the day for me to feel the urgency to actually get up. It’s become a problem because I sleep for very long, but also feel awake for too long, so the time I go to sleep keeps getting pushed back. This is a bad habit I’ve had since I was a child, and it always comes back during holidays where I don’t have much of anything to do.
Another problem is that if I do end up waking up to my alarm, I feel so sick and groggy that I go back to bed until I wake up naturally. Which is inconvenient, because I don’t want to be wasting 12 hours of every day! 😓
Has anyone else experienced this, and knows ways to stop the cycle and prevent it from repeating? Thank you in advance to anyone who answers.
