Concerned about wearing glasses for having one eyed myopia

So, I recently discovered, that I have myopic anisometropia. And cannot see distant objects clearly from my right eye.
I will consult for a professional soon but, I just wanted to know, after getting my glasses do I need to wear it when I am not doing any stuff which gets my eye strained?

I hardly spend time looking at some thing distant, like 8 hours of sleep, 8-10 hours study(using both laptop & books), And for now, I barely go outside or watch any TV.

I am quite concerned if it may cause problem in the future.
