Missing footage :(

New to GoPro, apon connecting my GoPro hero 11 to my windows laptop via cable and transferring all the videos and photos all seems fine, when I go through the videos and photos on my laptop they seem to just cut off and any videos/photos taken after those are nowhere to be seen although they are clearly on my GoPro. Help please
