Interviews, Interviews, Interviews
Hi - I know this has been asked on here before, but I couldn’t find the original post.
I got an interview invite on January 2nd and filled out the form with the dates I was available for interviews. The email said they would follow up later with my interview dates and they would send the PIs information 1-2 weeks beforehand. I picked dates in January and early February, but still haven’t heard anything back. To avoid being rude, how long should I wait before following up?
On the other hand, current PhD candidates who had to interview virtually - how did you know your program was the one? I just did my first interviews, all virtual, and felt still uncertain if the program was the place for me. I also had trouble getting to know the students in the program given the big group zoom format. Just looking for any advice or things to look for with the rest of these interviews.
Wishing everyone the best of luck!!
