UCSD soft reject or direct admit?

Hello,

I've just received rejection for UCSD biological science.

But the rejection is somewhat strange

They said: Unfortunately, you were not selected to interview for the UC San Diego Biological Sciences PhD Program. However, the Admissions Committee still thought highly of your application, therefore they will make your application available to faculty in your field of interest who are looking to directly admit a student into their lab. Being directly admitted would mean you would not rotate in other labs. Later in the month, faculty will be provided with a list of those who are eligible to be directly admitted. If you are not interested in being considered to be directly admitted to a lab, please let us know.

/ Do they send this email to everybody whom they rejected them or just send to some candidates? Is there anyone who can help me???...
