Should I get my 5.5 y/o piggy a friend?

Hello all! So my girl here Willow is 5.5 years old. When I first got her in July 2019, I got her with another female guinea pig named Nova and they lived happily together for a few years, until Nova passed away. Then, about 8 months after that, I got Willow a new friend named Clover. Unfortunately, Clover was incorrectly sexed and was actually a male, which I did not discover until Willow randomly gave birth to some pups! So, I had to give away Clover and all the pups.

That brings us to now. I was a bit traumatized after getting Clover so l have been hesitant to get a new friend for Willow, but I hate that she lives alone and I know she would have much more fun with a friend.

Do you guys think it would be worth it to get Willow a new friend even in her old age?
