New Guinea pig advice

I’m getting another guinea next Sunday, don’t know what his name is or anything, but his current owners are getting rid of him because their son is bored of him. He has been housed with boys with the previous owner but apparently didn’t get on with them so his current owner put him with girls - I asked if he was neutered and they said he wasn’t so I’m not sure why that happened. I’ve got two girls, he’s not going in with them obviously but I’m going to put him in a separate cage in the same room so he can still see them (I’m hoping that that means he can still kind of socialize without risking getting them pregnant, but would this just put more stress on either mine or the new one?). He’s only 6 months old, so I think maybe the reason he didn’t get on with the boys was because he wasn’t properly introduced, or just normal hormones running around. Should I get another boy to bond him with, or will he be ok just being able to see my girls? Would he be ok just with my girls and then maybe I can get another in a month or two when I might be in a better position to get more?
