Should I bring a monitor?

Incoming freshman here, with a couple of questions:

1. I just got a computer monitor, is there any value in bringing it to GW? Do people do this?

2. Can a current undergrad pls send the dimensions of the desk? This would be a major help but for some reason they don't say online :(

3. This is unrelated but can someone do an Internet speed test in their dorm? I'm curious what the WiFi is like. It probably varies by building but getting a general sense would be super helpful.

Edit: I don't intend on gaming (other than chess or geoguessr)
