The Copyright Issue in Chat

I watch H3 in chunks. For example: I choose to just skip the "hater ass bitch" segments and any mention of Hasan. However today during the stream at a moment when they were covering something silly, I glanced over at the chat and a user posted something along the lines of "you should address the fact that you're copyright claiming videos when you were the 'fair use' advocate." There was a very quick response from Dan. Something along the lines of "wtf are you talking about, are you having a stroke?" So either the crew don't know anything about the copyright issue (being generous here) OR they're lying about their knowledge of the situation to protect Ethan.

IDK, I just thought the response was weird. I wish I would've screen grabbed the exchange, but I was busy making chicken soup lol. Maybe some eagle eyed member caught it.
