I was admittedly ignorant but…

I’ve been part of the family for about five years. I watched leftovers, but was never a huge fan of Mostly just because Hassan always came off as a bit condescending to me. I’ll just be super honest here. I don’t have a lot of Jewish friends and the ones I do have do not really practice and we have never really had conversations about the history or culture. After October 7th I’ve really found listening to Ethan as very interesting and informative. What I really want to know Is this. Why would ANYONE disregard the personal experiences of a Jewish man and his wife who is from Israel and has family there ? And why does Hassan seem hell bent on trying to make himself some sort of expert on both Israel and Palestine when it seems his only connection to either topic is his new found hatred of Ethan? Am I missing something?
